Nalandabodhi Seattle offers opportunities for students to study and practice Buddhism under the guidance of The Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche. As part of Nalandabodhi, an organization dedicated to continuing the lineage of Tibetan Buddhism internationally, we study and explore the teachings of The Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche and masters of the Kagyu and Nyingma traditions of Tibetan Buddhism. |

Sunday Morning Meditation
The Nalandabodhi practice path begins with a basic resting meditation practice called calm-abiding or shamatha. Nalandabodhi Seattle holds meditation practice sessions most Sundays from 9:00am-noon in the main shrineroom. Everyone is welcome, and meditation instruction is available. See the calendar to confirm meditation practice schedule.
Paramita of the Month
The paramita for July is generosity:
In The 37 Practices of the Bodhisattva, it says:
"Since, if you wish for enlightenment, you must give even your body away, What is there to be said about giving material objects to others? Therefore, to have generosity without hope of Being paid in return is the practice of a bodhisattva." (25)
